Building on the insights gained from my previous experiments, I decided to revisit an arrangement I’m particularly proud of, the art inspired bracelet. This design was originally created with a focus on artistic balance and harmony, but I realiSed there’s potential to explore other sources of inspiration that could lead to equally unique arrangements. For this iteration, I chose to retain the core arrangement of the art inspired bracelet while experimenting with a fresh palette. The goal was to test the impact of new colours and combinations while staying true to the principles that made the original design stand out.
In this redesign, I used green beads as the unique centrepiece, with yellow and blue serving as the foundation colours. To avoid clashing, I swapped the gold separators from the original design for silver ones, which complemented the cool tones of blue and balanced the vibrancy of yellow. To further test the design, I created two variations: one where blue replaced the black beads from the original and another where blue substituted the white beads. Both versions offered distinct aesthetics, but the dominant blue variation stood out as my favourite. The yellow beads provided a strong supporting colour, creating a harmonious balance that elevated the overall design.
Encouraged by the success of this test, I decided to push the boundaries further by altering the unique beads in future iterations. My next step will be to replace the green beads with yellow, paired with blue and green as the foundation. I’ll also try a green and yellow combo, exploring how these variations affect the overall feel of the bracelet. Each test is a step toward refining the versatility and adaptability of this arrangement, showcasing how colour placement and choice can dramatically shift a design’s character.

This experiment reaffirmed the importance of thoughtful arrangement and color harmony in crafting standout pieces. The ability to test and iterate has given me valuable insights into the nuances of design, allowing me to uncover new possibilities within an already successful concept.
CONCLUSION
By revisiting and evolving the art inspired bracelet, I’ve opened the door to endless creative opportunities. The dominant blue variation proved to be a strong choice, offering a balanced and visually appealing design. Moving forward, I’ll continue to experiment with different unique bead colours and combinations, exploring how they influence the overall composition. This iterative approach not only deepens my understanding of design principles but also lays the groundwork for a versatile and cohesive collection that reflects my evolving creative vision.
